Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

We aim to increase young people’s awareness, access, and control over their sexual and reproductive health. Through sports and peer-led education, we create safe and engaging platforms for young people to openly discuss issues such as:

  • HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention

  • STI education and testing (HCT)

  • Unwanted pregnancies and menstrual health

  • Early and forced marriages

  • Youth-friendly SRHR services

We achieve this by integrating a variety of innovative and youth-centered approaches that make sexual and reproductive health education both accessible and engaging. Health talks are incorporated into sports sessions, creating informal and safe spaces where young people can openly discuss sensitive issues. We organize age-appropriate, peer-led discussions that encourage openness and relatability among adolescents. Youth-friendly health service days are hosted in schools and communities to ensure practical access to information and services. Additionally, we collaborate with guest speakers and local health professionals to provide expert guidance and credible information. Our efforts are further amplified through awareness campaigns conducted during nationally recognized events such as the Candlelight Memorial Days and the Nanenane Exhibitions, helping to reach broader audiences and foster a culture of informed and responsible health choices among young people.
